About the bms ChoirsAt BMS, we have the Cantabile Choir, primarily made up of 6th graders or those students who are new to singing in choir, The Intermediate Choir, which is comprised of mostly 7th grade students and those students who may need more help on the concepts of singing in a group, and the Concert Chorale, which is comprised of mostly 8th grade students and those students that exceed expectations on the concepts of singing and performing in a large group. These choirs meet every other day all year in our 5 hour block schedule. We also have an a-cappella group comprised of 7th and 8th graders who sing a wide variety of repertoire from Madrigals to Popular music selections.

About Mr. Fritz |
Mr. Fritz has been a resident of the Berlin area since he was 4 and graduated from Berlin High School in 1997. He attended UW Stevens Point and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music in December of 2001. Soon after, he landed a job with the Markesan School District directing the 7-12 Choir Program. While teaching there, he received his teaching license through the CESA 6 RITE (Residency In Teacher Education) program. Following the 2004 school year, he accepted a position with the Berlin Area School District as the MS Choir Director/Music Teacher. At BMS, he also coaches 7th Girls Basketball, and Directs the School's Musical. In October of 2015, he received a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University with an emphasis on being a Principal and Director of Instruction. Mr. Fritz is Married and has three children. In his spare time he likes to go fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and just being in the outdoors generally.
